The Maritime
Museum in Peenemünde lies on the sunny Island of Usedom in Eastern
Germany.
Using the new A 20 Autobahn connection you can reach the Island in - approximately
2 hours from Berlin. The train is also a relaxing way to get there, this
way you can get close to the areas such as Bansin, Heringsdorf and Albeck,
where the Royalties used to swim.
Next to the Submarine museum is also the Rocket Museum," THM "
Technical History Museum, which is the cradle of space travel. Right here
Wernher von Braun helped to develop the V1 and V2 rocket.
